Salt intake and hypertension.

The  recommended  dietary  salt  intake  as  by  WHO  is     5-6 g/day which  will  have  major beneficial effect on cardiovascular health along  with  kidney  function. Too much  salt  intake  increases  the  electrolytes  in  the  blood  ,  which  consequently  increases  water  retention  by  the  kidney.
